At Kat Black Interiors, we are dedicated to delivering a comprehensive multi-step design process, creating a smooth and enjoyable experience for every client. 

Here is an overview of how we typically work.

> Project Initiation Phase

The consultation is conducted and the goals, style, budget and project scope are reviewed in detail. Kat listens closely and will ask a series of questions to help understand and develop the 'vision' for the project. If both parties feel the vibe is right, the design contract is put in place and  the project begins!

> Research | Space Planning | Design Development

This phase will include the project site assessment with the contractor/or other trades. Next we will create the Design Concepts to portray the overall style and 'look' for the home. The concepts are to serve as a design guide for the client, contractor, and other trades. If architectural plans are required, KBI will work closely with the architect to ensure the 'design vision' for the project is implemented accurately.

> Design Presentation | Materials Finalized

This phase will include the design and material presentation. Approvals, amendments, and any necessary modifications will be made and submitted for final approval.

> Procurement & Project Oversight

After final approval, orders are put in place.  KBI will work closely with the contractor and/or builder and conduct  site visits to ensure that the general conformity of the design plan is followed through with our very high standard of work.
