Kat Black founded KBI in 2021 -  bringing over 15 years of design expertise to a studio built around her own eye, instincts, and standards.

That foundation carries into how KBI works alongside homeowners, builders, and architects - asking the right questions early, staying in step through every phase, and treating each partner's expertise as part of the process, not an afterthought.
